I WILL:
- I will abide by the rules of the game to the best of my knowledge and ability
- I will honor the rules of the host and the host facility.
- I will respect the decisions of the event host or tournament organizer. If I have any issues with how an event is being run I will bring it to the attention of the host directly.
- I understand that event hosts are volunteer (and members of the community) and not necessarily professional event staff.
- I will be a positive role model, encourage sportsmanship, and demonstrate positive support for all players, coaches, officials, and other spectators.
- I will resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.
- I will treat other players, coaches, officials and spectators with respect regardless of race, creed, color, sex or ability.
- If I witness any illegal or dangerous activity, I will notify a director or board member.
- I will leave spaces as clean (or better) than I found them.
I WILL NOT:
- I will not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct or yelling at any players or officials or other forms of disrespect such as profane language or gestures.
- I will not bring, purchase or consume alcohol at any venues or events that do not allow it.
- I will not smoke (vape or otherwise) at venues that do not allow it.
I understand that if I fail to abide by the aforementioned rules and guidelines, I will be subject to disciplinary action that could include, but is not limited to the following:
- Verbal warning by an event host, organizer, or board member
- Suspension from attending Philadelphia Volleyball programing, or for continued violations, being barred from Philadelphia Volleyball events.
