When you turn/exit onto 24th street, the field is immediately on your right.
Parking
There is a lot at the field to park in, however we seem to have out grown this space the year so parking is going to be tight. We will have someone directing traffic to help cram in as many cars as we can, but we probably have around 1 parking spot per team in that lot.
Please carpool if you can.
Hopefully we can fit everyone, but if the lot is full here are some suggestions of potencial places to park.
Pennsylvania Ave (~10-15min walk.)
North 22/23/24 street: check signage as these vary, but most of these should be full day (~10-15min walk)
Park Towne Pl (~2min walk), only on Sunday
Paid Lot at 21st and Spring garden (~12-15min walk.) ($9)
Paid Lot at 2201 Fairmount Avenue (~15-20min walk) ($15)
If the lot is full, you can drop stuff off at the field before looking for street parking.
Schedule
Check in will open at 8:00-8:30am, play starts at 8:45am.
Sundown is at 7:15pm, so we will be starting 30min earlier than usual, and will be more strict with rally scoring late in the day than other tournaments.
We will be going around to check on pools around 3:30pm to make sure they are on track to finish around 4:30pm. If they are not on track, you may need to shotgun games, or if it gets really late, use rally scoring. Playoffs need to be done by sundown and we do not want to need to abbreviate playoff games.
Food and Drink
We will be grilling to raise money for the Philly Beach Fund throughout both days.
We will have free water available (bring you own water bottle)
We'll have burgers and dogs for sale, as well as acai bowls, protein/granola bars, Gatorade and energy drinks.
